About our staff

Vas & Eleni Diakogeorgiou started this company in order to ensure quality CPR and First Aid classes are being delivered with real world experience and plenty of hands-on practice ensuring participants are ready and confident to react to any emergency. 

As an Athletic Trainer, Eleni has practiced on the field and dealt with varying levels of emergencies and understands first hand the importance of ensuring emergencies are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

She earned her bachelors degree in Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut, her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare from Sacred Heart University and her PhD from Concordia University- Chicago in Health and Human Performance.

Her experiences range from working as an athletic trainer in Division 1 athletics and as the head athletic trainer at a high school in central Connecticut. 

She is now a Professor and Program Director of a Masters in Athletic Training program at a Connecticut University.  She has taught numerous courses included First Aid, CPR, Emergency Principles for athletics, concussion management and evaluation and treatment of the spine. Her past research has focused on athletic emergencies and incidence of concussions and baseline testing for concussion.  Her dissertation research study looked at breathing emergencies in football players.
